Depending upon the type of plastering material, the surface preparation is done. This process involves watering the surfaces like wall, roof etc to extensively cleaning it to make it even and ready. Some surfaces may require provision of embedding wire mesh or applying layers of chemical formulations before the plastering work is carried out. The plaster shall cover all such embedded material and give surface a smooth finish. A prior moisture treatment is also done when you want longevity of plastering.
The plastering task usually requires more than one plasterer for executing the work. A good amount of curing time is essential. The curing, done with regular spray of water on the plastered area will increase adhesion and bonding.
